Open Hands invites you to prayerfully consider sponsoring our upcoming community event. As a sponsor, you’ll be supporting the many free programs that we provide to help people improve their health; body, mind and soul as we point people to Jesus.
- Give as the Lord leads - your business will be proudly displayed on race shirts (deadline 10/2023), on our race program, on our facebook page and on our website. Sponsor may set up a booth the day of the race and promote your business, compete for awards for the best booth.
- Encourage team building. Join our team Challenge with your employees, family, friends who are willing to run, volunteer/cheer or man your booth.
Be a sponsor, bring a team or do both! Your support helps provide free Christ focused care for body, mind, and soul.

HOW IT WORKS
- Register your Team Name and participants by contacting Stacy at 863-801-7737 by 11/1
individual participants go to runsignup.com register for Open Hands’ Lake Okeechobee Run - Team mates can run the race, volunteer, cheer on their team or host a booth/station.
- Teams will compete for Awards. (Best costumes, most joy, best name, most encouraging, most medals,
best spirit, biggest team, most inspiring.) - Consider having a team sign making party (Awards for funniest, cleverist, most encouraging, and best overall)

Different ways to Get Involved- Encourage church members to run or walk in the race alongside friends and family. Individuals

- Volunteer to cheer and encourage runners or set up a water or snack station.
- Have a sign making party at your church. (Awards for most inspiring, funniest, clever and best)
- Join the Team Challenge. Register team name and participants by 11/1 with Stacy at 863-801-7737 (Teams consist of runners, volunteers or those cheering their team on.) -Compete for fun awards and recognition (Best costumes, most joy, best name, most encouraging, most medals, best spirit, biggest team, most inspiring)
- Consider hosting a station/booth to share your ministry, encourage runners and connect with the community. We will have awards for best booth, most encouraging and most fun.“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23
